Arte In MadBlue: OcEAN, SEA

Arts and creative processes have the challenge of facilitating positive change from an ethical and conscious perspective. Arts, design, architecture, innovation and science come together at MadBlue, to become a transformative tool. The art at MadBlue reminds us that its existence goes beyond the artwork to offer us a critical vision of our world.

EXHIBITION

“OcEAN, SEA”

Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque

“Ocean Sea ” is the title of Alessandro Baricco’s novel of the same name, a work in which echoes and allusions, inventions and discoveries proliferate. In the novel, if the sea is the theme, the ocean is the excess, where everyone ends up going, an unspeakable place where time disappears. If Baricco’s novel aims to “say the sea”, this exhibition attempts to “express” it by delving into its complexities and mysteries.

RAINMAKERS
Miler Lagos

You will be able to produce rain while walking inside it thanks to its rolling ring of more than 5 metres. Rainmakers poetically points out the human longing to have enough power to manage the weather as we wish.

REFUGIO Y UMBRALES
Dagoberto Rodríguez

Refugio brings us closer to the idea of solitude and the individualism of our societies. Umbrales proposes portals with plates of sunlight that take us into the world of science fiction to find answers to the incongruity of the world we inhabit.
